The Korean War and Its Legacies

The World History Digital Education Foundation is proud to partner with the New-York Historical Society to offer a special workshop on the Korean War and its legacy. This full-day educator workshop will explore primary sources on the Korean War and lessons on the legacy of the war including the Economic Miracle and North Korea. Designed around numerous sets of rich primary and secondary sources, the lessons involve several disciplines of Social Studies (history, economics, geography, and civics) and include propaganda analysis. Teachers will take home a curriculum book and printed teaching resources.

Participants will receive 6 CTLE hours, and a $150 stipend.

Please bring a laptop if you have access to one.

Current vaccination and masking requirements for in-person events will be in effect.

Registration is $35 per person ($150 stipend at the conclusion of the workshop)
